Alterations

I arrived safe and sound back home where I am having a great time, visiting family and such.
Today I wanted to show you a new tunic that I had someone make. I wanted some western clothes in African prints. Therefore before coming I sent some pictures of clothes I liked to my parents and they showed it to a tailor. The later did an okay job reproducing what I asked for (slight harem pants, maxi dress, maxi skirt and tunic). But there are some imperfections. Reason why I am going to visit him personally to relay my ideas. Anyway today I wore this tunic even though I think it needs alterations.

I just went out for some food shopping around town, nothing fancy so this dress came in extra handy for being super comfy. I liked it so much that I may even leave it the way it is.


 

 
Days back home can be either boring or super busy. Truth be told, there are so many projects I want done but two weeks is barely enough time to accomplish it all. I think I need me a partner, someone who understands my visions and who can help me execute them to a T. When this will happen, then I will be unstoppable. Beware Jimmy Choo, here I come!

Have you watch Japanese TV recently? Everywhere channel to zap to, there is some Korean boys or girls band singing or some Korean drama being aired. Some channels even have so much program around Korean stars that one may wonder if they are watching Korean TV? Japan is going through what they call the "second wave of Korean Boom". Best place to shop in Japan (Tokyo/ Yokohama)

 When I moved back to Japan, I created this blog to talk about my fashion life here. However, I realised that I am not really doing any of it. I talk more about me and less about fashion life in Japan. That is why I decided the following posts will deal only about shopping in Japan. Barbie Pink Shoes Since I have been back in Japan, I have been so busy that I didn't have time to window shop (plus I am temporarily living in a not so hip part of town). However my daily trips to the supermarket and family restaurants made me notice something interesting/ strange I would like to call Barbie shoes. I think every girl my age or younger living in rich or somehow developing countries knows what a Barbie doll is.I used to dream of owning one after I saw my cousins who came back from the US having a box full of them plus accessories/ I finally owned several of them including one of my favorite: a black Barbie.
