That Striped Blouse!

Hi y’all!   During the final months of 2021, I went on a shopping spree. It was in the span of three weeks. It did not help that the clothing store I mostly buy from was on sale. I bought so many things, things that I did not probably need but definitely wanted. To make space for the new stuff, I had to let go of the old stuff. I cleaned my closet, getting rid of all the things that no longer fit my body or my lifestyle. The never worn or slightly worn clothes were sold to colleagues. After the feasting is done, we again change in fancier clothes, and go greet neighbors and/ relatives. It is also an occasion to show our clothes to our friends. Back when I was younger, it was a pleasure to go out in the streets, and check everyone out while also showing off my outfit. We would also hire a professional photographer at home to take family pcitures. Nowadays, all the showing off is done via social media as most of us have a camera phone (with tr
