Plaid dream

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing wonderful. I am having a gingham and/or plaid moment right now. Lately I have been drawn to everything plaid and gingham. I even made an entire collection on it that I have yet to market. But I am thinking that this is not a phase because I have been liking gingham for quite some time now. I even bought a yellow and white gingham skirt last year. Maybe I like gingham so much because it reminds me of my elementary school uniform, which was in blue and white. And my love for plaid dates back to that Scottish plaid pleated skirt my parents got me when I was six.  Anyway here is a simple look I made centered around a plaid top I recently purchased.  Plaid top - Zara and altered Jeans - Numero Uno Sandals - Sandaga market Bag - Class Earrings - DIY I bought this top without trying it on. Due to the pandemic, many stores do not allow clients to try on the clothes. Unfortunately for me, the sleeves of the top were too tight for comfort. I could pull it

Hello everyone! How y'all doing? Is everything alright with you physically and mentally?  I am hanging in there. We are only in June and this year has been already hard enough. The Covid-19 has already subverted our lives. In my home country, people are upset about the way the government is managing the crisis. And at the same time, most of them are not really respecting the basic rules of social distancing and barrier gestures.  On top of that, recent events in the US - the killing of a black man by police and the protests that ensued - has forced us to ponder more about the racism that black people are facing on the daily not only in the US but around the world. I have been trying to find words to define how it feels to be black and to face racism, but also what I think about the recent events: police brutality, protests and such. It is still hard for me to find them. Hopefully I will share them with you soon.  In the meantime, I would like to discuss something closer to home.  Mo
