 Bonjour Today I would like to talk about a fabulous experience I recently shared with my boys: I took them on a safari at Bandia, outside of the city.  For a while now, I had been wanting to go to the Bandia reserve . It is a reserve that offers a safari with wild animals such as lions, zebras etc.. Recently I found an opportunity on Instagram with a travel agency I have been following. We took the bus provided by the agency  not far from my house. We travelled for an hour and arrived at the reserve. After waiting a while, we got on huge safari buses with a guide and departed.  Last night was wild. Strike that! Yesterday was wild.  I had a full busy day. Originally I was only supposed to go to my tailors, then drop at my Alma Mater's BBQ, then go do some mani pedi with my best friend. Just before I was to go for mani pedi, a friend of mine called to say that she had tickets to the Teranga Movie Awards .  Teranga Movies awards is this award show that started barely two years ago. It was created by the "Cinéma 221" association, whose founding members are Senegalese cinema professionals. It is to promote Senegalese cinema and  TV, but also to celebrate its actors, technicians, producers. Two years ago, I went to the first edition with my friend. We had a grand of a time, although to be frank, the event was a tad small. Hello Everyone How is Summer treating you? Did you make plans to travel? As for me, I am super busy at work to even think about vacations or travelling; Still I find little ways to get out and enjoy myself during this season. One of my favorite activity to do is Brunch.  Hello Hello! A while back, I took some time off just to relax far away from everything. I wanted to isolate myself somewhere in the country since I am not so keen on international travel at the moment. My sight was set on Goree Island that I love so much. So I booked a room through Airbnb for two nights in the middle of the week.  I stayed for three days doing absolutely nothing except, relaxing, reading books, watching movies and walking around the island. Hey y’all! A few months ago I was having an exchange with a friend on Instagram. She was rocking a slip skirt and I asked her where she got it from. She told me that if I was to buy the skirt and not wear it , there was no point in her telling me. The thing is she knows me too well. She knows I do not wear anything too revealing or too sexy. Hello dear Readers! If there is one thing I try to do when it comes to fashion or my sense of style is to get out of my comfort zone. I try to purchase and wear things I never thought would suit me or look good on me. Recently, I saw the instagram story of a plus size influencer I followed. In it, she was rocking a beautiful sweater dress. I wrote to her asking where she got the confidence to just wear the dress. She was gracious enough to reply to me and we exchanged a few messages. She told me that she would just wear the sweater dress without caring because most of the time we are worried about what people may think, but in reality people are too busy with their own lives to care about us.
