African printed jacket

Hello dear Readers!

How did you ring in the New Year? Mine was spent with my family and best friend, eating a lot, arguing and laughing even more. Happy New Year by the way!

I am going to start this new Year with a banging post (if I do say so myself!!!).

My best friend gave me a jacket/coat made in Woodin print fabric or commonly known as African prints for my birthday. It is bright yellow with brown and cream circles. Truth be told, I would have never picked such a bright fabric for myself even if I love me some yellow. Therefore it was hard for me to see about styling it. But, during a phone call, my best friend gave me some ideas. And after brainstorming a bit, I found two ways to rock this jacket.

PS: We were supposed to be matching with our coats on New Year's eve but I went for a black jacket because the Yellow printed one did not match the pink shoes I wanted to wear. And what do you know, I did not even get to wear the shoes. (LOL)

Best place to shop in Japan (Tokyo/ Yokohama)

 When I moved back to Japan, I created this blog to talk about my fashion life here. However, I realised that I am not really doing any of it. I talk more about me and less about fashion life in Japan. That is why I decided the following posts will deal only about shopping in Japan. Today, I will talk about my favorite places to shop in Tokyo, Yokohama area. This post maybe long, so bear with me. Zara  My best friend showed me the Spanish brand. Barbie shoes

Barbie Pink Shoes Since I have been back in Japan, I have been so busy that I didn't have time to window shop (plus I am temporarily living in a not so hip part of town). However my daily trips to the supermarket and family restaurants made me notice something interesting/ strange I would like to call Barbie shoes. I think every girl my age or younger living in rich or somehow developing countries knows what a Barbie doll is.I used to dream of owning one after I saw my cousins who came back from the US having a box full of them plus accessories/ I finally owned several of them including one of my favorite: a black Barbie. Anyway, remember the Barbie rubber shoes? They used to be in rubber and in pink color? Well, I saw the exact same thing one some Japanese woman's feet just a few days ago.
