Cooking class

Today I finally had my cooking class. It was meant to happen a month ago but due to the earthquake, it was rescheduled for today. My son's school has a great support group for the mothers. Mothers with skills offer their services for free. Therefore, almost every month of the school year, there are cooking classes among other courses. Today was my turn. I had 7 students and I hope they had as much fun as I had today. Cooking is not my forte therefore I am still skeptical that they really enjoyed it. I am telling myself that since they took all the left overs home, there is a slight chance that they found the food tasty.
Anyway, here is what I wore today. Not really appropriate for cooking but I wanted to stay away from my mommy outfit (jeans and flowy top)

Grey leggings- Ross

Have you watch Japanese TV recently? Everywhere channel to zap to, there is some Korean boys or girls band singing or some Korean drama being aired. Best place to shop in Japan (Tokyo/ Yokohama)

 When I moved back to Japan, I created this blog to talk about my fashion life here. However, I realised that I am not really doing any of it. I talk more about me and less about fashion life in Japan. That is why I decided the following posts will deal only about shopping in Japan. Today, I will talk about my favorite places to shop in Tokyo, Yokohama area. This post maybe long, so bear with me. Zara  My best friend showed me the Spanish brand. And I have been hooked ever since. I am 1.68m, and weigh 60 kilos (one a good day). I have wide hips and a big bottom. Therefore it was always hard for me to find pants my size in Japan. Barbie shoes

Barbie Pink Shoes Since I have been back in Japan, I have been so busy that I didn't have time to window shop (plus I am temporarily living in a not so hip part of town). However my daily trips to the supermarket and family restaurants made me notice something interesting/ strange I would like to call Barbie shoes. I think every girl my age or younger living in rich or somehow developing countries knows what a Barbie doll is.I used to dream of owning one after I saw my cousins who came back from the US having a box full of them plus accessories/ I finally owned several of them including one of my favorite: a black Barbie. Anyway, remember the Barbie rubber shoes? They used to be in rubber and in pink color? Well, I saw the exact same thing one some Japanese woman's feet just a few days ago.
