Hello!  Still alive under this heat? Me? I am melting! But apparently fat does not melt as fast as I thought it would so I am still alive. Anyway, today I went over to visit a Japanese friend who recently had a baby. I had a crazy fun week.  Since my kids are out of school, I have to do things to entertain them. My idea of entertainment is to take them to the nearest park or to the pool one day and rest the other. But I always get invited to do something and I find myself out almost every single day. I do not want to complain because back when I was living in the States I so longed to be a social butterfly (lol). But now, there are some days I just want to lie down and do not move.  Anyway, today was not one of those days as I had to go out with the kiddies again. It rains a lot in Japan. In fact it rains enough for rain not be a factor in everyday life. In Japan, even a typhoon would not stop people from going to work or out. Coming from a country where people will not put a feet outside their doors even for slight rain, living in Japan was a bit challenging a first. But I overcame the challenge. Hell, I even became a pro at mastering being covered under the rain by riding my bicycle with one hand while grabbing an umbrella in another. Because it rains so much, Japanese people know how to get ready in case of rain. And some ladies do it in such style, it is hard not to admire them. Hi Y'all! Summer is already here, although if you ask my closet, it has been here for the last three weeks at least. The crazy weather brought by Tsuyu (or Japanese raining season) had made the temperatures relatively low. However that did not stop me from wearing my favorite summer outfits plus a little something something to keep me warm. I was fooling around today, trying to recreate celebrity styles I like.  There are not many celebrities that inspire me when I dress because they are way too sexy and bold for my taste. However, I love Beyonce off style, off as in when she is not on stage or walking the red carpet. The woman knows how to do casual, without being shockingly exposed (like Rihanna). Konbanwa! I had my "family" in Japan over for a home party yesterday. We shared lots of food, laugh and ideas. As usual I am happy but exhausted. In fact I was so tired that after cleaning up this morning, I did nothing but laze around and catch up on the Internet. Plus the hubby was nice enough to take us out for some sushi so I practically did not do much all day.  I am wearing the same outfit two days in a row (for the party and to go out today) because it is so comfy and colorful. I have no idea what is my best angle and how to play with the light. I am very clumsy when it comes to striking a pose that will highlight the clothes but also show my best features. All the hours spent watching ANTM were a waste! Tyra would be disappointed.
